All Natural Lemon and Sugar Scrub

Hey y'all, just wanted to share the facial scrub that I've been trying and absolutely love. Its cheap, easy to do and you can get all the stuff at your local grocery store!

Heres what you need:
-Lemon juice (doesn't matter if its fresh or from a bottle)
-Granulated sugar
-Cotton pads (those little circular ones)

1)Take your lemon juice and put some on a cotton pad.
2)Put however much sugar you want on top of the lemon juice soaked pad
3) Got to town scrubbing away all those dead cells!

Its so easy and affordable compared to some of the ones you can get at the store and at the dermatologists office or where ever lol

Enjoy!
Come back now, ya hear?

April Favs and Saves

Hey Y'all. I know this is a little late, but better late than never! lol
First off, what I mean by "Saves" is "Save your money!" lol

Ok, first the favs......

Herbal Essences' Tousle Me Softly Hairspray and Finishing Touch Cream - My hair is wavy and I really hate having crunchy waves from mousse and other hair products, but this line really didn't do that unless you went insane with the hairspray. My hair was soft and smelled fabulous! The Finishing Touch Cream really sculpted my hair and kept those pesky flyaways from going crazy. lol

Conair's De tangling comb - This is a dream comb! I'm constantly getting tangles out of my hair and this is the best comb I've ever found. The bristles are spaced out enough that it gets the tangles out, but doesn't pull your hair out. :^p

Aveeno's New Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion - It might not smell all that girly, but it is a miracle in a bottle. I know it is somewhat pricey(well, if you're like me and leery about spending $6 or $7 on a product that you do not know if its gonna work because a lot of the lower priced items work just as good), but it is well worth the money. The dollar store has a knock-off that is pretty good, but it doesn't last as long.

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser - omg, can you say FABULOUS?! I have sensitive skin so most of the facial cleansers are really harsh on my face, but this is the first one that I can actually use everyday and not have horrible breakouts! It may be, like, $12 a bottle, but it lasts a while. I've actually had this one for about 3 months and I have at least about 3 more months till I have to get more. The only thing it doesn't do is get rid off all the dead skin, but I just use a bit of lemon juice and sugar to scrub dead skin cells off. Which is another fabulous trick I learned! I'll post about it another time, though.

Sally Girl products from Sally Beauty Supply - I absolutely love Sally Girl products! They're cheap and are on up there in quality, if you know what I mean. lol I have the lip gloss in "Shameless" and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. I'll wear it on top of other lipstick shades or by itself for a daytime look. The Lipstick is in "Curfew" and its a flattering shade on any skin tone. The products are under a dollar and are awesome. The eye shadows I have are highly pigmented. The lip products smell so good! Definitely a two thumbs up! lol

L.A. Colors eye shadows - such a wonderful find! I was walking around my local Dollar Market and found these eyeshadow palettes from L.A. Colors and fell in love with the colors and the price wasn't bad either...$1!!!! These eye shadows are ultra pigmented and so bright! Definitely a good choice to use to pop your eyes!

Now, the saves.........

John Freida Root Awakening line - I wasn't too thrilled with this product. I tried a sample of it for a week and didn't like how it made my hair flat and it had no volume. It smelled lovely and made my hair shiny, but my hair was funky looking. To me, it wasn't worth it. But you can make up your own mind.

Wet 'n' Wild Cream Eyeliner in Plum - I wasn't too thrilled wit this product. It didn't spread too well and was clumpy. It took forever to dry(if it did dry at all!) Definitely save you money on this product.

Well, theres my April Favs and Saves posting. Also, all these products were bought with my own money and I am not affiliated with any company. Y'all come back now, ya hear? lol
